For a past late-June to early July, I thought I’d knit this one. Personally, I love knitting diagonal dishcloths. Yes, I could have used a solid color, but variegated yarns make this more fun. Nah, save the solid colors for the other dishcloth patterns. If you want to know what yarn(s) to use, I use Lily Sugar n’ Cream in “Red White & Blue” on Amazon. I knitted this dishcloth faster, because this is not my first one, and I used bigger circular knitting needles. The reason that I use circular knitting needles is that any knitting project can come with me, without the concern about losing one of them; everything is contained.
All in. all, I was pleased with how this dishcloth turned out. I liked how the colors combined together, as well as the diagonal slant to it. It was fun knitting it. If you like nautical or patriotic color schemes, I recommend having a lot of this yarn; getting a cotton yarn cone is a better deal, money wise. Happy knitting!
I use cotton yarn for creating items that can be washed many times. It is quite utilitarian. If I used acrylic, and with what I know, I would feel a certain amount of guilt for letting micro plastics get released into the water supply.
